General Appearance
The Beagle is a compactly built hound without any coarseness, and it should convey the impression of great stamina and activity.
Head And Skull
The head should he of a fair length and powerful, but without being coarse. The skull is domed, moderately wide with an indication of peak. The stop should be well defined, the muzzle not snippy and the lips well Hewed. The nose should he black and broad, and the nostrils should be well expanded.
Eves
The eyes should be brown, dark ha/el or hazel, with a mild expression, and they should not deep set or bulgy
